Dear
Stranger,
I started Holy Retro Mail Club because somewhere along the way, the world began to feel a little less human...
We scroll endlessly, rush through conversations, live through notifications, and somehow still feel disconnected from one another. Even moments that should feel meaningful are often interrupted by glowing screens and distracted minds.

And yet, I don’t think people have stopped longing for connection.

I think we’ve just forgotten how to slow down long enough to find it again.

Some of the most meaningful moments in my life have happened in quiet cafés while travelling alone. Sitting in the corner somewhere unfamiliar, listening to distant conversations, watching strangers pass by the windows, speaking to a barista for five minutes longer than expected, and leaving feeling strangely full inside afterwards.

Those small human moments stay with me.

More than landmarks.
More than photographs.
More than the destinations themselves.

Holy Retro Mail Club was created from that feeling.

A longing for slower living. For nostalgia. For music that makes you stop what you’re doing and simply listen. For letters with your name written on the envelope. For things you can actually hold in your hands and return to months later.

Maybe it reminds you of another time.
Maybe it awakens an old memory.
Maybe it simply helps you feel something again for a little while.

Either way, I hope these envelopes become a quiet place you can return to when the world feels too loud.

Thank you for being here.

Jack
